i really like this. the greenness of it is just great. normally, you'd see this type of pic with a red tint to it, so green is a nice break from normal. it's very exotic. makes me wonder what she's thinking about. good job.

My personal fasination with decay makes this instantly a fave. The attention to detail is again beyond compare, and I adore the combined uses of colour, texture and tone. This journey into green is a very sucessful one, and I think that your art is moving forward on each subsequent submission. There is very much that is both Poe and Peake in this composition...indeed the rot of the Ushers and their crumbling mansion pervades this piece like some poenarian phantom. I think that the scarring and the cracked surfaces add to the feel of dread wasting on this work...none of us are beyond the power of the Destroyer and the ravages of time will claim all.
The feeling of decay is so strong that you can almost smell it. Maybe its the green.. or maybe my drugged state is causing this to wander into some literary allusion... liker the afterdream of a reveller upon opium...who knows?
In short.. I love it
